Rick Paynter Inducted into Cambridge Who's Who
Rick Paynter excels in hardware quality assurance

PASADENA, CA, December 30, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rick Paynter, Spacecraft Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer for The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in hardware quality assurance.

With 32 years of professional experience, Mr. Paynter attributes his success to the knowledge he has developed during his vast experiences in his profession, as well as to a lot of hard work. As a Spacecraft Hardware Quality Assurance Engineer for The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, he is responsible for managing the implementation of the QA plan on the next NASA mission which will land on Mars. Called The Mars Science Laboratory (MSL), it includes the next Mars Rover named "Curiosity" and is scheduled to launch in November 2011. Mr. Paynter looks forward to working on other exciting space projects after MSL's launch.

The Jet Propulsion Laboratory, which is owned and operated by the California Institute of Technology, is the lead U.S. center for robotic exploration of the solar system, and conducts major programs in space-based Earth sciences and research services for NASA.
