fipart to introduce new online networking feature at Heli-Expo 2010
Virtual replica of entire helicopter industry on display at fipart's stand

ECHTERDINGEN, GERMANY, February 14, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- fipart will unveil a new online group designed especially for helicopter professionals during the Heli-Expo 2010, which takes place February 20-23 in Houston, Texas.

Under the slogan "Say hello to the industry," fipart will encourage every participant and exhibitor at Heli-Expo to sign up for the new group at fipart's stand (3625). Heli-Expo is the world's largest tradeshow for the helicopter industry and is expected to attract around 16,000 visitors this year.

The introduction of an online "heli-group" is fipart's answer to industry feedback. "Existing platforms for the aviation industry concentrate only on locating spare parts," explains Andreas Lampprecht, fipart's CEO. "Industry leaders have told us they need more: a place to not only trade and do business, but also to build their personal aviation network. Bringing people together to develop high-quality relationships is a fundamental part of our mission."

The new helicopters-professionals group will make it easier for members to communicate with each other, discuss new trends and exchange know-how in the future. It is the first group to be introduced on fipart. Other sector-specific groups can then be created and managed by users themselves at any time.
In addition to unveiling the "heli-group," fipart aims to use its presence in Houston to increase overall awareness of fipart's trading and networking platform in the helicopter community and boost its visibility in the US market.
