Sherida Dewitt-Smith Joins the Ranks of Leading Professionals
Sherida Dewitt-Smith served in Afghanistan for six months in the joint operations center in Kabul

ANDREWS AIR FORCE BASE, MD, September 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Sherida Dewitt-Smith, Radio Operator, Senior Airman for the United States Air Force, E-4 Ranking, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in military services.

As a radio operator for the United States Air Force, Ms. Dewitt-Smith specializes in learning quickly and she takes responsibility for managing radio operations and delivering rapid service to the president, Department of Defense, ships, aircrafts and any authorized personnel. She has always had an interest in the military and joined the air force during her junior year of high school. She attributes her success to remaining focused and accomplishing her tasks.

Ms. Dewitt-Smith is pursuing her Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from the University of Maryland University College. She is a member of the Andrews Base Honor Guard. In the coming years, she intends to become an air force officer and work at the White House Communications Agency or work for an information technology business.
