NORTH BERWICK, ME, November 1, 2008 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Carrolous W. Verrill, Retired Supplier Quality Control Representative from Pratt & Whitney, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of quality control.

Mr. Verrill has enjoyed a fruitful career spanning 38 years, 18 of which were spent with Pratt & Whitney, an aircraft engine manufacturer. Considered an expert in quality control, he was tasked with inspecting the quality of products, working on computer-controlled machines and managing layout inspections. Prior to joining Pratt & Whitney, he honed his skills as an aircraft mechanic on B25's.

In addition to completing industry-related training, Mr. Verrill attended the University of Hartford, the University of Maine and the University of New Hampshire. He currently serves as chairman of trustees of the First Baptist Church in Shapleigh and was also a Sunday school superintendent at the First Baptist Church for 41 years. Now officially retired, he looks forward to increasing his involvement in church activities.
