BCI Aircraft Leasing, Inc. To Conduct Sale-Leaseback With China Airlines
Chicago-based BCI Aircraft Leasing, Inc. ("BCI") has signed a letter of intent for a sale and leaseback transaction with China Airlines.

/Aerospace - Aviation News Articles/ - CHICAGO, IL - September 17, 2008 - The deal will include a 2006 Airbus A330-300 commercial aircraft which will be operated in passenger service on long-term lease by the Taiwan-based carrier.

As the largest airline in Taiwan, China Airlines operates the island's most extensive and highly regarded international network of passenger and cargo services.

China Airlines is always on the look out for ways to broaden its commercial horizons. In 1993, it became the first of Taiwan's airlines to list on the stock exchange. In 1996, China Airlines' operating revenues out-reached NT$50 billions, and are targeted in excess of NT$100 billions by the year 2003.
