Lapeer Flight Center opens with new Glass Panel Skyhawk
It didn't take Ray Larner long to figure out that the recipe for a successful flight school in Lapeer, MI includes great instructors, brand new glass panel airplanes and a lot of hard work! Lapeer Flight Center opened its doors at the beginning of March and Ray is still trying to catch his breath.

Lapeer Flight Center opened its doors at the beginning of March and Ray is still trying to catch his breath.

Lapeer Flight Center has partnered with the Cessna Aircraft Company to offer state of the art computer based instruction, cutting edge technology in new Cessna Skyhawk SP airplanes, and plenty of Cessna exclusive programs like student loans, college credit, and free flight training for new Cessna owners.

"I was overwhelmed with all Cessna has to offer both me and my customers," remarked Ray after attending a Cessna training session in Phoenix, Arizona. "Their high industry standards and outstanding training curriculum allow Cessna Pilot Centers like ours to prepare our customers for their new lifestyle in less time and for less money."

Ray flew his new airplane home from the Cessna Single Engine factory located in Independence, KS and the plane has been busy ever since. Lapeer Flight Center will also be a Laser Grade testing center so customers can conveniently take their written pilot tests without driving to another airport.

"The remodeling of our training room is almost complete and we've planned a grand opening celebration sometime early next month," commented Ray. "And I don't think it'll be long before we need another Skyhawk!"
